you have no idea who you are talking to when you're chatting online, they could say they are a 16 year old girl when actually they are a 50 year old fat man. get friends in real life and then chat with them online when you are not together, i just think it's crazy. anyone else agree?

Some people like french fries, some people like broccoli.
Some might like dogs and others like cats.
Some people just feel more comfortable meeting ppl on line rather than in person because of their introvert personality.
It really depends on if you actually trust the person. I know many people who have met their best friends and even husband/wife online.
If you cant trust them, then talk to them on the phone. I doubt a 50 year old man can disguise his voice to be a 16 year old girl.
