It could be affecting pregnancy but probably not. Usually abnormal cells indicates something else. Sometimes its nothing but it could also be HPV (not to be confused with HIV). HPV is the Human Papillomavirus Virus. HPV can cause a variety of symptoms, most commonly genital warts and abnormal cells on the cervix that can lead, if left untreated, to cervical cancer. HPV also causes cellular changes that can lead to vaginal, vulvar, anal, and less commonly penile and oral cancers.

Most of all don't worry. Lots of people carry this virus and it can go away on its own within 2 years. It is very important to go and get the coloscopy and get regular check ups to make sure there is no cancer.

It could be nothing. A lot of times it turns out that way. The best thing to do is keep calm and realize if it is HPV it is not that big of a deal. Do your research and be smart.

Is this after a pap smear? It could affect you getting pregnant. If there is something that needs to be taken care of medically, then it for sure could have something to do with it. Call your doctor. Find out what is going on and deal with the problem. Then try again.

I would call a fertility specialtist. News like that is usuallty done in person, not even on the phone. I am suspicious of a letter. That is confidential info and anyone could opent the letter.

Yes i could do-- having a colposcopy isn't very nice i have to warn you-- if you have to have the laser treatment so that they can do a biopsy it is very painful. It will upset the system but i'm no medical expert but i do think that you should try take it easy
