There's a whole list of them under iTunes Essentials if you use iTunes. You can download it here if you don't already have it:

And then go to the music store and look under iTunes Essentials. There are a lot of really good ones on the list, like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, The Used, Yellowcard, Weezer, Underoath, Jimmy Eat World, and the Promise Ring.

maybe your influence will help since you dont seem to like it,

Fall out boy, green day is not emo but she might like them(i love them),i listen to punk rock somaybe,AFI,H.I.M.,cartel,lostphophets(they sing rooftops),yellowcard,nirvana(they were grunge though)
