My best friends b-day is coming up and shes emo. so im not really emo but i like sum bands but i dont know a lot. can anyone give me sum good emo bands.so i can make her a cd hehe!

And then go to the music store and look under iTunes Essentials. There are a lot of really good ones on the list, like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, The Used, Yellowcard, Weezer, Underoath, Jimmy Eat World, and the Promise Ring.

you should convince your friend that emo is just plain awful.
maybe your influence will help since you dont seem to like it,
by no means am i a music snob but i cant deal.
anyhoo, the one band i CAN deal with is My Chemical Romance

Fall out boy, green day is not emo but she might like them(i love them),i listen to punk rock somaybe,AFI,H.I.M.,cartel,lostphophets(they sing rooftops),yellowcard,nirvana(they were grunge though)
