It's against the law in all states. I am sorry that your brother did this to you. You are doing the right thing for him as well as for yourself. There will be healing that will come with this. Keep you a head up.

YES, it is!!!!! In legal terms is called "Sexual Assault Against A Household Member" then from there it is broken down a little further...from incest to rape & broken down futher still....hope U are okay with what has happened 2 U...under the circumstances...I know its hard & U prob thought it could never happen 2 U...but believe me...I know...it will take time 2 heal..though U never 2 U or that it's not gonna happen in Ur family...'cuz I thought the same thing..though with me it wasn't my brother...4 I don't have 1....it was my .."loosely" called father...but I've survived it/lived through it...now I have a wonderful son & have the job of my dreams!!!! & this happened when I was in the 5th grade...& now I'm 33...so you see/can read ~rather~ that time can heal & that depending on how Ur feeling rigth now, its better 2 STOP what is/has happened 4 U 2 be able 2 live a "normal" life WITHOUT the abuse.!!!!!

Where do you live? I think different states the laws are different. I know in Ky where I live incest is against the law. I would check around where youlive just to be sure. Ask your parents or an older adult who knows your situation. Maybe your teacher would know. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know.

I feel for you and will tell you that yes incest is a crime but for most victims they don't know what to do.
Please remember that you are not at fault her and that you should tell someone that you trust or your parents and both of you need to get couseling to get through this.
Just so you know I have been molested too so I know how you feel but I never told anyone now he is dead .
I have gone on with my life but it will not be easy just don't let this bother you and live a normal and happy my dear.
You need to tell your bother to stop or you will tell your parents?
please let me know how things turn out.

Yes and the incest laws vary by state so you may need to check your own state laws. If either of you is under the age of 18 (16 in some states), then you not allowed to give consent to a sexual relationship and you may press charges for molestation of a minor and/or rape of a minor.

Here's a clipping of an article regarding incest law:
"Incest in this country is regulated through two parallel sets of laws: marriage regulations and criminal prohibitions. Marriage laws prohibit unions of parties within certain relationships of consanguinity (by blood) or affinity (by marriage). They declare such marriages void from the start.

Criminal laws prohibit marriage and sexual relationships based on the same ties (with the necessary consanguinity and affinity usually defined the same way as in the marriage laws). They penalize those who disobey with fines or imprisonment.

Every state today has a statute defining eligibility for marriage, and each and every one prohibits marriages between parents and children, sisters and brothers, uncles and nieces, and aunts and nephews. Some prohibit all ancestor/descendant marriages, regardless of degree. Four states extend the prohibition to marriages between parents and their adopted children.

Twenty-four states prohibit marriages between first cousins, and another seven permit them only under special circumstances. Utah, for example, permits first cousins to marry only provided both spouses are over age 65, or at least 55 with evidence of sterility. North Carolina permits first cousins to marry unless they are "double first cousins" (cousins through more than one line). Maine permits first cousins to marry only upon presentation of a certificate of genetic counseling. The remaining nineteen states and the District of Columbia permit first-cousin marriages without restriction."

Of course, it's against the law!
You can go to prison if you caught and proven guilty.
