a few months ago, a guy who had the hots for me asked me to come over and see him. I told him to get a car and his own place to live and I would. I haven't heard back from him.

What did you expect? Bruised ego or not, what you did was not kind. How would you think or react to a guy who told you to "get a breast job and better attitude and he would ask you out" ?

You asked for a conditional relationship. He either does not like the conditions or is looking for an unconditional relationship.

Ha! What a great answer you gave him! IF you bruised his ego, maybe he actually went out and got that car and his own place to live. You may never know. Don't worry about it. You did good.

Well i think that was a bit harsh. These things don't come over night. And you may find out if the guy does eventually get his house and car he'll not be interested in you cus he'll see u as being too materialistic. And if he is someone u liked u'll go all green eyed seeing him with someone else he would have considered more patient.

Eh, you might've. But if he really cared about you, he would've still kept in touch with you and probably would've let you try to help him find a good car and apt/house. Although you also shouldn't choose guys based on material luxeries like that. If he's a nice guy, give him a shot, even if he does drive some junker and live with his mom.

You expected to hear back from him after you basically told him to f*ck off? Of course you bruised his ego, why would you say something like that unless you never wanted to hear from him again?!

Maybe he's still trying to get up deposits on a place. Dating is all about looking for someone to live your life with. If he's still living with his parents, whether through laziness, or in this age, everything being too expensive, he can't very well focus on you. Don't write him off, just don't wait for him either.

If it was me you wouldn't have bruised mine. I probably would have thought you were pretty stuck up and a ***** and just ignored you

I do believe that was something he needed to hear but don't expect to hear from him.
