l am 25yrs old and my husband is49yrs old l am dreaming of having a baby,but l am affraid because of the age difference,i dont know if the age difference will have effect on the baby,i am confused.

It will have a slight difference, but not in negative terms. It can have positive affects in that your child will learn to adapt and relate to different age groups. Also, your husband being older will benefit in your child's learning, as parents being younger tend to negatively affect a child's intelligence. I suppose that's because as we get older, we have gone through more life experiences and therefore, have more to share. I would not worry too much about negative affects... children are resiliant and you're child will most likely benefit from your ages, rather than have set backs. The only problem I can foresee will be that your husband's age might limit how long he is present in the child's life, but that depends on his family life expectancy. A man's age does not effect development of a baby.

Kids arent going to care about the age difference, they care about BOTH parents being there and being loved. I cant see a child worrying about dad being 14 years older than mommy. As long as that child knows that he/she is loved and is well taken care of, age is going to be the last thing they care about.

have a baby.you are young enough.men can have kids til they die!!no effect in baby.hes not that old.
