Lying down really does help...although that only helps if everything else is working correctly. All it does is help keep the sperm from draining out the vaginal opening.
Here is what worked for my husband and I. One honeymoon night we both had a little too much to drink so he went to sleep on the couch, me in the bed...lol. That night I joined him on the couch, no condom and didn't get up to pee after sex (missionary position); actually I didn't move at all due to the alcohol induced sleep.
We then followed with unprotected sex twice the following morning. After that 12 hour time span we started using condoms again.
Now I'm 4 months pregnant.

I have asked the same question for a long time. I just recently found an answer that cleared it up for me. My uterus is tilted forward, so having pillows under my butt after wards will help greatly. it does keep all the sperm inside of you, which will help, seeing that you need every one you can get. they say that only 25% of people get pregnant, after trying for a year. So! good luck!!!!

Grab the latest Essence magazine June 2006. For deeper penetration by your partner, they suggest putting a pillow under your pelvic area and this helps. Maybe its what you need for the soldiers to get where you want them to go.

I have seen this method a lot so I would say it does work. Most people get pregnant after they stop trying because they feel less stressed so try to stay relaxed.

It will help if you are in your fertile cycle. The longer the sperm has to get to the egg the better. And stay away from acidic douches at all times.
