It's a good sign of high progesterone and a healthy pregnancy.
If it continues to be an on going problem that is affecting your daily routine (work/sleep/eatting) then you need to talk with your doctor. He can put you on pills that help.
I say eat crackers before you ever get out of bed in the morning. Make sure you are nice and 'adjusted' before you get up and start moving around.
Anyhow, congrats, this is a good sign!
Here's a good site that has some advice;

I would talk to your OB/GYN. There's medications for this sort of thing. I was SO SICK when I was pregnant with my daughter. I actually lost weight the first trimester since I couldn't keep anything down...not even water. I was prescribed Zofran which helped tremendously for the nausea. Also, there's lollipops called "Preggie Pops" that have anti-nausea stuff in them which helps a great deal for morning sickness. Good Luck!

Well first off i want to say i hope the nausea starts to wear down. One thing you can try is maybe drinking some sprite to help settle your stomach if you feel alittle better after like 10 min after that then try eating some food.Start off with little things like fruits and veggies and crackers.I hopw this helps.

Ask your doc - each woman has her own kind of reactions to smell and taste. Its best you consult a doc. The nausea feeling can be subsided with ginger juice and honey mixture. There is a lot of help ginger can give you - but then again ask your doc before taking anysuch thing. My wife was taking it and it helped her a lot.

If it is as bad as you describe you need to see your doctor!
Some morning sickness can be life threatening! Serious! If you can't keep anything down, you aren't nourishing the baby and you are feeding yourself which is just as important!
He will be able to prescribe something for you to help ease it!
But you might try ginger ale, ginger tea, ginger beer (I haven't tried it, and it's not actual beer!)
I heard ginger is wonderful!
Good Luck!

You need to get you an ob-gyn or go to your family doc and get you some prenatal vits and a script for Compazine. Won't hurt the baby and will settle your stomach pronto. I had afternoon sickness. My hubby was the one hanging out the back door every morning tossing his coffee, heh heh heh!!!!!

Please call your OBGYN and tell them your concerns. They will monitor your weight and the baby's heart beat to make sure the baby will be healthy. It is normal to have nausea and vomiting, even a little bit of temporary weight loss. However, excessive weight loss can be dangerous. Try sipping on warm Chamomile tea, it settles the stomach. And call your OBGYN.

You know with my pregnancy it was the prenatal vitamins that I was taking. You may just want to go a day or two without them and see how that goes. Or you should try a broth. That always helped me out too.

I always eat jello when I am nauseous. I find that it helps. It doesn't matter how much you eat as long as you get all your nutrients. Keep taking your vitamins and consult with your doctor to see if you can take some gravol.
