Okay... let me just correct your association mix up. The Christian fundamentalists with their aggressive agendas are overwhelmingly republican. It does NOT hold true that republicans are all Christian fundamentalists interested in pushing agendas on anyone. Case and point, McCain.

Are the christian fundies pushing their agendas on the people of the US? Of course they are. They always have and they always will. That's what they do. Republicans are more interested in kickstarting the economy by making some of the people richer. And fortunately, some of them are smart enough to back off of the wedge issues.

all politicians got there with the support or religious institutions you can not get elected without it and never have .
Religion am
nd politics are so closly related that the founding fathers seperated them but they still vote in the politicians until we reach a level of non religious people in the country that out number the religious we will always have religion running america thats why in the kennedy election it was said that do we want the pope to run america .It is ok for GOD that mythical man made creator to rule but never a man .A man of God always runs the country which GOD is the question.Mine says it is ok to run naked in the streets doing as i please pissing all over yours so you get to chose which GOD you want running things till we decide all of them are wrong and we need to find the real GOD if he even wants to be found it would be easy pop up on T.V.for a 10 minute chat to set things straight.
HE sure has left a mess down here and needs to pop in cause we can not fix it with 25 Gods running things around the world.religion is politics and politics is what GOD wants apperently or he would show up so it is faith then really that he even exsists all the signs are wrong and lies no miricles that can not be explained yet .SO i see no evidence other then my being here and that would mean i am faulty for not beleifing and destined to suffer under christian predjudice and punishment great GOD you all have killing and jailing and beating ppeople over the head till they beleif what you tell them GOOD FOR YOU AND GOD THEN I SAY .thats why i do not beleif and do not listen to you people.

Absolutely not. Simply because President Bush is a Christian does not mean that religion is being pushed at anyone. Jimmy Carter is a Christian, Bill Clinton claimed to be a Christian, so when did it become such a threat? I would guess that most U.S. Presidents have been Christian, it is only a problem now because President Bush is a Christian, and for what ever reason liberals latched on to it as a reason to hate him.

I don't think so. I think what we're seeing is an outright attack on Christianity. Things like bibles in front of courthouses, the ten commandments within, and nativity scenes have always been a part of our culture. There have always been those who fought, for whatever reason, to strip any religious stigma from the fundamentals of our government. Things that don't really bother anyone, are suddenly coming under heavier attack and minority voices are dictating what the majority should have to live with - or without.

I think all we're seeing is the religious people rise up and attempt to protect what has always been. That along with fundamental right and wrong beliefs on things like abortion and gay marriage. You really can't blame them, you can't blame any group who comes under attack, and you can't expect them to go down without a fight.

Yes, that is the repuglican way, less government, less taxes, less regulation, more bulls hit. Now lets turn the spin around, with Bush he has expanded the government farther then any other president in history, Cut taxes to the very rich while leaving the poor and middle classes behind. With his faith based initiative he and the gay marriage ban, stem cell research has restricted Americans rights, wire taps, right to privacy he has been awfully hard on the Constitution. Yes they are pushing off their religious beliefs on every American.

Yes, and their foolish make-believe is sad and meant to be hurtful.
For exmaple, where is the outrage at Abu-Ghraib? At Joyce Meyer getting a face lift then writing a book about it?
Since when do Republicans know anything about sex,of all things?
Think about it.The people who can have sex the least want to impose their views of sex through law the most.Oh I know,"activist judges" are not ok if their above the Mason-Dixon Line. If one, just one so-called "activist judge" outlawed something that favored the far right, they wouldn't complain.
Think about it.

Yes, it gives them the votes of the Bible Belt and right wing finaticals.
They should not do this, because ours laws require the division of church and state. And even the Bible state "Render on to Caesar the things that are Caesars, render onto the Lord the things that are the Lords".
The Bush Administration is forcing it's beliefs on everyone else. This is not how our constitution was set up.

Yes it seem a bit so. President Bush is very against same sex marriages and always references the Bible when saying marriage is the union between one man and one woman.

Yes, the clear evidence is the gay marriage ban. Many who supported the bill sited bible references. When infact marriage has been around longer then Christianity.
