He's never played a premiership game.. So why take him to the World Cup.. Also on the subject, do you think he is even going to play in the World Cup.. I think it will keep swapping between Crouch, Owen and Rooney. (Providing Rooneys Fit)

Sven has a masterplan?, he must have because managerially speaking it is a brave(possibly stupid) move, and seeing as he is going after this WC he is more comfortable making those decisions. There are more experienced "youth" players around like Dafoe who went home due to Rooney`s recovery or Wright-Phillips (just to see Ian Wrights face).Walcott has the potential to shine but throwing him in like this could be ugly,he already has a minor injury from training

To be quite honest sven made a stupid decision as he has enough players to choose from and he is only young and still has alot to learn Sven may think he's good but what about if they get into the final he may be a draw back for the england team. Plus satudays performance wasn't as good as it could be we only won coz of an own goal! At the moment england are playing quite poorly

He would have been better taking Super Dean Windass from Bradford than Theo (never played in the premiership) Walcott. If I was Defoe I would be well pissed off.

yes a stupid decision, I was at old trafford when he came on as sub against hungry, he was quite exciting to watch with the ball at his feet but he didn't have a clue when it came to positional play. Any world class defender will tie him in knots.

I assume this is something to do with some sort of sporting event.

The answer is that it doesn't matter. The popularity of such sports is a symbol of people's shallowness and of our governments' desire to keep us uninformed and unconscious. While we waste our time watching football or whatever, rich old men control our destinies.
