He will probably end up in the AL next year as his body is just too week from...old age. Or that he cant take steroids anymore. One of the two, actually a combo of both. Hopeully will not break Aaron's record of 756.

Yes I do think he'll retire.

Bonds wanted badly to pass Babe Ruth on the all time home run list because Ruth was a white player, and Barry got sick of hearing how great Ruth was.

But Bonds actually has a lot of respect for Hank Aaron and his HR record, and I believe Bonds will retire before he reaches that mark.

IMO, the absolute, only thing that could keep Bonds playing for one more year (he won't play beyond that) would be if he could sign with an American League contender, in order to possibly get a World Series championship.

But he really doesn't care about Aaron's record, only Ruth's.

Yes Barry Bonds has to retire soon cause he is getting to old to play . He won't be good and then no team would want him. I think he should retire after this season.

Who really cares about Barry Bonds?

I would like to see him retire...I think his better days are behind him.

We can only hope so!! The decision will be his as the Giants and Giant fans cow-tow to that poor excuse for a great baseball player. Just think of how many kids looked up to him as a hero, and now what do they have left? A bum.

I think he will move to an AL team to play DH. He will get offers..there is no doubt about that. He will finish season with Giants and have one more season as DH. Possibly Oakland actually since it is local for him.

I wish he would have retired last year, I remember him playing for the Pirates when I was young and idolized him and Tony Pena, He should have left before his name got tainted. But then again he did it himself, as the picture on my myspace says: Ruth did it on Hot Dogs and Beer......
