Go to any store and buy something. Then read what the label says. Usually it says "made in China". If you stop trading with them, you won't get the microwave or toaster or the laptop or the memory chip inside the laptop or the iPod or the shirt or the sneakers.. and you will become like the people in Africa. Because when you send manufacturing jobs abroad, you stop and tear down the factories and stop training the labor force, and stop producing the capital goods needed to make the factory again and stop training the labor force to build those capital goods.. and so on. It's a long chain backwards: the supply chain. You don't have a supply chain anymore. Just like Africa. What you do have is money to buy the products from that supply chain. In order to keep your civilization alive, you need China. Or you could rebuild the industries in the USA from scratch. That would take another 50 years again.

The US keeps China as Most Favored Trading Partner but it helps China more than US because the trade balance between the two country is hugely favoring China. Still why the US should continue with the MFN status to China? Only because of the influence and pressure of certain Transnational corporations in the US, who are making profit in the deal, who are not at all worried about the fact that as a whole, the US is losing...And while talking about Human Rights, does US have the moral authority to question China after its own records in Guantanamo Bay, GITMO...only a few to name...

It's we're getting screwed by OUR gov! Pollution free electric power has been all over our Gov. Millions of high wage jobs to build electric power plants. Millions more jobs to build electric roads to use the clean power for electric cars and trucks. 2 nations and 1US state pay not tax the residents. Kuwait pays $58,000 y, no rent, utilites, phone, hospital, or income tax bills! I know it's oil! Oil is just 1 of thousands of commodities. With all the commodities in your state why aren't you getting paid? With all the resources of the Feds why aren't they paying 50 times better than Alaska. Wtih all 3 systems working right now; why aren't the Feds taking the best from each system and doing better than Kuwaities at paying US! China just bought our pollitions lock stock and barrel. We had better start our worries with our officials then worry about China!

We should be worried about China. We have recently borrowed over 300 million from the country. If you require more evidence then look at this site.

'We' are busy lining the pockets of our wealthy campaign contributors and do not really care about the laborers of any country.
Perhaps if 'We' get replaced next November, the long road back to normalcy will begin.
