As a start, look at your birth certificate.
Write to your County Health Dept., giving personal Data.
Look up religious records, hospital records, mother's record.
If it is for a cat, dog, or goldfish, this may be difficult; just pick any-old date and sing "Happy Birthday" to your dog. Don't forget to feed him/her some ice cream.

Birth Certificate or in School Records.If this is also not possible ,verify hospital records.Still if you find it difficult ,there will be Registrar for Birth and Death and Registration is compulsory in many countries you can try there.If your parents are there simply ask them.

if it is somebody famous, you should try wikipedia first, if this fails, google - including "date of birth" in the search string
