it all depends on the genre....Casablanca, African Queen, My Name is Nobody, Finding Nemo, Nosferautu (scariest vampire movie ever) Sabrina (with Bogie and Willliam Holden) Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. Charlie Chaplin flicks, the Marx Bros., anything with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Singin' in the Rain, State Fair, etc......basically most movies made in the 40's are the best ever!

Actually nothing made in the last few years has made it worth spending $$$$ on going to a movie.

Chariots of Fire.
I have loved that movie from my first viewing. I knew it was special. I knew it was a "sleeper" -- a precious little gem of a film and I was right-- it took the Oscar for best film that year.

I see it at least once a year even now. It still brings me to my knees with emotion.

It is such a rich film, the characters, visually, musically, historically, and viscerally.
