The series with David Tennant...is it played on the telly?

Yes it's on the Sci-Fi channel on Fridays (Repeated 2X) and once on Sunday.

We get last seasons.

Last Friday was Christopher Eccleston's last episode "The Parting of the Ways"

I loved Christopher Eccleston as the Dr. I'll definitely miss him in the role.

We haven't gotten the new season with David Tennant. Does he do a good job playing the Doctor?

no, the season (or series to some of you) with david tennant doesnt start in america till later this year or early next year. i do believe that is has to finish airing in the uk before sci-fi can air them here, so more then likely, we wont see it till feb or march of 07...

in the 1970s it was on pbs a lot. you may be talking about a newer one. i'd like to know too.

the new season has not started in Canada.
we have only seen the x-mas episode.
