I found 2 baby turtles in my yard and i want to make a habitate for them in my yard ??

i dont know what i need to make this habitate for them does anyone know/?

they are box turtles but i dont know what i need to make it for them can anyone help me?

If they are box turtles, it may be illegal to keep them. In manystates and jurisdictions, there are laws protecting or limiting their capture. They are a threatened species b/c of loss of habitat. Please check with state or local by-laws.

Hatchling box turtles are hard to care for. They hide all the time and are very picky eaters. Best thing is to let them be.

You need to find out what kind of turtles the are. Take them to a pet store that specializes in reptiles (not Petco or Petsmart, those people are idiots) they can tell you. They can also tell you what habitat to build for them. I suggest you get a book on turtles, books have to be fact checked while anybody can say anything they want on the internet.
