What should I do if my wife wants to see in shorts and I'm afraid to expose my body to her?

If she wants to see you in shorts she has already thought about it and knows what you look like, so dont be afraid, if shes not scared of seeing you, you should'nt be.

Ask yourself the following questions and then I think you'll be closer to your answer:
1. Do you trust your wife? Marriage and trust should go hand in hand.....
2. What insecurities do you have about your own looks, and is there something that you and/or also your wife can do to help you overcome them ..i.e. go to the gym, see a therapist, or even something as simple as a nightly walk or run with your wife?
3. If it's a question about being out in public and being self-concious in public about your own looks, does it really matter to you what other people think, afterall, there's only one person in this world that should actually care about your looks - and that's your wife. If she wants to see you in shorts, I'd say that's a strong hint as to something that might impress her.
4. What fun things could you be missing out on not being able to expose yourself to her - showers, hotels, certain "fun" vacations .. etc.
5. Is it really your body that you find difficult to expose to her, or is it something more pyschological, often times the inability to expose one's body is more a difficulty in exposing one's mind or soul. Here again, a therapist might be a good idea to help you with this.
6. Communication, Communication, Communication. So often communication break downs are the inevitable fall to otherwise great marriages. Can you sit down with your wife and talk to her about your insecurities and perhaps come to a compromise that gives her some of the "spice" that she might be looking for while at the same time helps you to slowly expose those areas of yourself that you are self-concious about?

Your wife is the one person in this world you should'nt be afraid to show yourself. Talk to her about your feelings, I bet she'll make you comfortable.Little by little start showing a leg or two and before you know it you will be walking around nude in front of her.

Dude, she wants to see you, period! I love to see my wife in sexy clothing but she is a little on the over weight side, maybe 20lbs tops. She is a little self conscious about it but guess what, I get mad because she won't do it and I really want her too, I love her and I love the way she looks, sooooooo show her what she wants, obviously she loves you and the way you look. Why would you not to wear shorts? I am sure she has seen you in a lot less than that. If sh thinks you should wear them, she obviously thinks you would look good, so do it for her- you don't have to wear them out anywhere.
