I care! I wanna see the USA finally beat the world in soccer. (for once)
Then perhaps soccer will be more popular in the USA. Soccer is a fun game. I used to play it all the time in my youth.

honestly I don't. The USA aren't really a team of the world's best imo. That said, I'd be shamed if they won the cup. I'd much rather watch brazil, portugal, england, spain, france, holland, Argentina but not the USA.

I do....although the USA team is new to the football arena, it doesn't mean they won't do well.

And to the fool that wrote they don't play football they play soccer in the US: Don't be a dope! It's called football every where else but in the US. In the USA football (American) should be called handball because only one player uses his foot (the kicker) everyone else carries the ball or throws it!

FIFA and all of its sponsors definitely care. If they can get more people from america to get into the world cup and the US playing than everyone wins. And if your going to ask that maybe you should ask who cares about Iran playing.

To be honest with you, I am more interested in the NBA finals. To me, I have the same problem with soccer that I have with hockey...not enough scoring (although hockey is getting better in that regard).

I think it is great that the entire world it better that us at soccer. It is sort of like the entire world is saying f u to us.

Although I haven't been watching the matches, I'm going for Brazil & Portugal...but if they go against each other, I'll go for Brazil :D

Not me. I'm not into soccer. My husband is and he goes for his native country. I'm into the Miami Heat and the NBA Finals.
