Why not? The pledge is an allegiance to the flag of our nation, to which we should all be citizens and which our state belongs to the US. Why would any public school which is funded by US citizen tax payer money not be allowed to pledge allegiance to the flag?

In Texas, it is a state law that students in public schools stand and say the pledge to the US flag, the Texas flag and then observe a moment of silence. A student can be excused from participating with a signed letter from parents, however I require that they stand quietly in respect to their fellow students and teacher.

I certainly not did considering that I used to be a b*tch who suggestion my sh*t did not stink to not point out I used to be lazy as all hell and suggestion the sector owed me some thing. I used to be a rotten teenager. Would I stand now sure, my instructor certainly not cared that I did not however a few faculties make it a rule to pledge if the instructor says you must then do exactly it, why purpose a scene approximately it? School is relatively now not the position to protest you'll remove out of your elegance buddies studying if it does purpose a commotion. You can continually simply rise up and now not truthfully say the phrases I do not see why a instructor could have a situation with that. If they do speak to them after elegance and allow them to know the way you suppose however I'm certain simply status would not be a situation.

We do nearly everyday in the district in Ohio that I teach in. Students cannot be forced to say it, but I have a rule in my class that students who object to saying the pledge must stand out of respect or leave the room.
