No way Dude!! In fact I think I remeber hearing an excerpt from an interview with Mark Hamill where he said he's een Spaceballs and he laughed just as much as the rest of us did!!!
That movie ROCKS! The combing the desert, the teleporter that didn't quite work according to plans, Pizza the Hut, and let's not forget the jammed radar!!! A classic!!
May the schwartz be with you!

No, it was a good spoof. In fact it got a bunch of my son's Friends together to buy the DVD so they could could count the comparisons to Spaceballs and Star Wars. Money in the movie maker's pocket. It was a blast watching them watch the movies. Being teens, I think they enjoyed Spaceballs more. I like both movies.

I heard Star Wars was so insulted it ordered a hit on Spaceballs, but the wiseguy that was supposed to do it fouled it up. Now Pizza the Hut is mad and is planning to launch an all-out, intergalactic space-mob war in retaliation.

No, George Lucas has a sense of humor. He was more insulted by Ronald Reagan calling his nuclear plan "Star Wars".

I don't think so. I would take it as a compliment that someone thought my movie was popular enough to make a parody. If they were insulted, they need to get real. Cheers!
