You should ask her what she's in the mood for. If you can't cook it yourself, I can probably find you a recipe. And if you don't find what she wants, then get it to go somewhere. Most places, even really nice restaurants have pick up or carside available now. Just make sure it's something that's easy to eat, not too messy, and has quick easy clean up. She'll be glad not only to be free of cooking duties, but clean up duties also.
By the way, you should be proud of yourself for helping her to feel comfortable. Most husbands wouldn't be so caring and willing to help with the dinner. My husband's idea of fixing dinner is getting the kids Happy Meals and fixing himself a bowl of cereal. Then leaving everything on the table for me to clean up.

Make her and romantic candlelight dinner with her favorite foods and special drink. Buy her and feed her her favorite desert and sit and relax and eat it together either on the couch or even in bed. Watch a nice romantic show or movie with her too and give her a full body massage afterwards to help her relax. I wish you the best!

Darlin', if you are willing to cook her up a meal, it is not going to matter what it is! She will be happy and greatful that you took the time to do it, and will be pleased with whatever it is you decide to make.
Don't listen to the others about getting take out - part of the romance of it all, is you making it for her!

Maryland Chicken (from the Joy of Cooking), rice, green beans, and a green salad, with wine. It will take an hour to prepare and cook. While you're waiting, wash her feet with a warm washcloth and give her a foot massage.

Don't cook. Buy what she likes from a restaurant that is close by, pick it up, then snuggle on the couch with your plastic food cartons and watch a movie you both enjoy. No cooking, no clean up, no stress! Sounds perfect to me!

chocolate sauce all over your body and let her lick it off? lol... seriously, whatever her favorite meal is, or if that's too hard or takes too long order something out, but either way she'll love whatever you fix b/c she didn't have to make it and you did it out of love...that';ll be enough. good luck, and keep the chocolate sauce idea in mind for dessert!
