install the drivers for the graphics card from the motherboard CD. then update your drivers from the manufactures website. for example if your GPU is made by Nvidia go to www.nvidia.com/drivers

Have you installed the XP over the old one? I mean the over-installation. It might have installed the default adapter drivers then. Have you installed the Display Adapter Drivers again? Do install them along with your Main board drivers. It might fix the problem.

Yes Xp won't support auto supporty graphics anymore.. so you'll need to install graphics driver from Mother board CD... Find your Board name ( go to run > Dxdiag) and search for Drivers in Internet

You are probably not running on the correct driver for your video card. If the card came with the PC, check the website of the PC manufacturer for the video driver. If you added the card, or know the manufacter and model of the card, check the manufacter's web site.

Get the drivers for the card, and install them, hopefulle this will work. Mine worked after the installation of the drivers.

reinstall again the video card installer then adjust the resolution and color depth... because reinstalling win xo means reseting all programs... so try installing again all necessary files..
