I was 18 years old, sailing my Sea Snark in Port Jefferson harbor, in Long Island NY, back in the mid 1970's. The Snark was basically a 11 foot styrofoam cup carved into a boat, with a small lateen rig on it. Anyway, the winds were perfect, the sun was going down and turning the water to gold, and my boat was just cruising along on a close reach, a white bubbly wake pouring out behind it. It was a perfect day, with perfect weather, and I felt perfectly at peace. I have never been able to duplicate that moment in all of my sailing experiences since.

The best moment on my life was a period of a few months, I was pregnant with my first daughter and I was deeply in love. I never been so happy in my whole life.
We were poor, strugling to survive in the world of adults and married people, but my baby in my womb and the love of her father gave me hope and I felt really loved.
Didn't have money, but I was the happies person in the whole wide world.

its a close call but its between the moment my tutor in university told me i had gotten a first class honours in my degree, or when dudek saved shevchenko's penalty in the 2005 champions league final to win the match for liverpool
