A metrosexual is a heterosexual male who is in touch with his feminine side.
He is VERY fashionable, color coordinates, cares deeply about exfoliation, may arch his eyebrows, primps in the mirror endlessly, and may take longer to get ready than what is normally considered long for a woman.

An urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle

metrosexual is a straight man who can get away with acting gay by being a shopaholic and spending hours in the bathroom etc. basically doing stuff a woman/ gay man would do but they are straight

A guy that participates in certain practices that many would consider feminine, such as, clothes shopping, grooming of certain body parts aka manscaping, using lotions, and going to salons, but is not gay. The opposite would be a retrosexual.

A dude who likes the women but looks after himself. You know, makes sure his eyebrows dont look like a hedgerow, his ears dont look like there's potatoes growing in them and wears deoderant and aftershave..oh and irons his t-shirts too and wouldn't dream of going out in jeans without a belt on...
