Japan has improved a lot. They lack of definition to make the second goal and G. Hid dink set all their offensive to try tie the match and save at least one point, but the spirit of japan fail and they get confused, Australian take advantage of the moment and they attack, change of strategy plus the Japanese down and Australia defeated them. Zico was trying to preserve the score and as I aid they failed in define the match.

Japan did well in 2002, reaching the second round, I feel personally that they have not progressed as a team in the last four years. Zico is a good coach but may not be the best for the Japanese future.
