When are the guidlines in divorce papers followed? For example, am I still entitled to half of everything, until the divorce is final?

Nothing is official until signed by the Judge. Guidelines are just that - guidelines.

That's a sticky question, cause it's up to the judge in the case. If both parties have signed the settlement agreement then that agreement would go into full affect once the judge issues a dissolution of marriage decree. It varies somewhat by state/county/jurisdictions, but your lawyer should be able to answer that question, or, if you don't have a lawyer, then the judge should be able to answer the question for you.

Ask your lawyer. But as far as I know, I think you are only entitled to half of everything as of the date of seperation or date the papers were filed. But don't go hiding things, or grabbing stuff just because. It could hurt you in the settlement phase. Best to find out legally before you do anything.

You have your Community Property Right's ( 1/2 your's) up until the divorce decree rules otherwise.( that's if your state recognizes Community Property...Otherwise..it's who ever has the receipts in their name..they legally own it.

IF IT STATED THAT YOU GET HALF THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE FINAL DECREE
