That is the title of the Ethiopian Emperors, which believed themselves to be the descendants of King Solomon. The last person to hold that title was Ras Tafari Makonnen, also known as Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia.

Tafari Makonnen held the title of Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1936 and again after WWII, from 1941 to 1974. He was deposed and murdered in a soviet-backed military coup on his country. Since that date, Ethiopia ceased to be a monarchy, and the post has been abolished.

Due to his pan-african policies, the Rastafari or "rastas", consider him to be Jah, or their God.

With all these titles this person should have a name like Superman, or Pele, but why only of the tribe of Judah? If this person is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, especially since the Tribe of Judah never had a formal state, confuses me! Any adequate answer? Thank you!

I Timothy 6:15 - 16 say, "...God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no-one has seen or can see. To him be honour and might for ever. Amen."

Haile Selassie, for one. And yes, he did exist but is no longer living. Is he the Son of God? He thought so, as did his followers. Was he truly so? Who knows?

This is for a fact Jesus of Nazareth, the one who die for us so we can be saved and He rose from the dead. Jesus is alive today and forever and is in heaven interceding for us to His and our Father who is God which makes Jesus the Son of God and whoever believe in the Son makes us also the children of God.
