grass grows to be how old?

Question

every plant, tree, living organism dies sometime. so how old do they live to be?

Not as long as weeds in my yard. We have rolled out sod twice & weeds are stronger - bully weeds I think! Turf grass takes 5-10 yrs to become established so grass must be old.

Grass lives 1 year longer then dirt. Dirt is very old.
