Cat Stevens song. Asks a big question. I was a child when that song was written and now I see it as a bigger problem.

As an adult how do you see your children's freedoms less than your own with our world?

The freedom to live a simpler life will be more difficult for them. Everything is just so much bigger, faster, more polluting, more violent, less peaceful. We are slowly killing ourselves and our children with our chemicals and technological desires to move full speed ahead without restraint. The simple life may sound boring, but perhaps a generation or two from now it will be something to be desired. Hopefully they will have some of the simple freedoms many of us have enjoyed, and the children will always play.
