It all depends on how long your period is and how long your cycle is. You ovulate about 2 weeks (usually 12-16 days) before your *next* period. Sperm can live in the female body up to 5 days. So, if you have a 40 day cycle and your period is 5 days, you would be talking about sex on day 7 when ovulation is somewhere between days 24 and 28. It can't happen.
If you have 26 day cycles and your period is 7 days long, then sex on day 9 could result in pregnancy with ovulation between days 10 and 14. The math is pretty simple once you know how to do it. Even in this case, you have less than a 50% chance of conceiving in any one cycle.
The difficulty arises, however, in that sometimes--no matter how regular you usually are--you may ovulate early or late (this would also make your period--which is caused by ovulation--to seem early or late).

It's not just about how many days after your period....it's a whole lot more. If you have irregular periods then you can ovulate at "strange" times of the month. Did you know that sperm can live inside a woman for up to 5 days? If you have an irregular period and end up ovulating only 7 days after your period ends and there are still sperm present then you CAN get pregnant. It is a myth that you can only get pregnant of you have sex ON the day of ovulation. Go to the library and get a book called "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschlier. It will help you understand your cycle better.

Not good, wait exactly 7 days from the last day of your period and you will have better luck.

likely but not mucj becuase you dont drop the egg until around 14 dys after the day your period started
