What is accelerated rehabilitation, and does it come off of your record when you complete it?

Someone I know was given probation for two years along with accelerated rehabilitation for hindering the prosecution(it is over in August, 2006). Each time this person goes for a job, they will not hire them because of the charge. When the accelerated rehabilitation period has been fulfilled, will this no longer follow this person?

It will follow him forever Just like any criminal record.

I'm not a lawyer, however it seems like that perosn would need to make a motion to have this expunged from his/her record.
