I was in week three of taking my Yasmin pills (I had two more to go after I took that one). However, I was at a restaurant, and something in the food caused me to have a bad reaction and throw up the pill that I had just took only an hour earlier. I feared the drug didn't get absorbed into my system, so I went home and took the next pill in my pack. Was that a good idea? I haven't had sex since, but just for my period's sake and all, should I have just taken the next pill?

I have been on BC for 6 years. Don't worry about it. You will not get pregnant and since your finished with the pack just start the next one when its time.

Don't worry-I have been on Yasmin for about four years now-you are fine and you did the right thing. Since you are almost done with your pack just have your period and then start the new package. You would fall a day ahead of your regular schedule but that is fine. That will be your new schedule. Or you could let your period be for seven days (just don't take anything the seventh day) and that way you can keep the same weekly schedule as before.
