I strongly doubt it. As much as I really wanted Iran to beat the crap out of Mexico (for the record, I am not racist but in Central America, we don't like Mexicans' arrogance when it comes to football), the team just isn't as compact enough for a World Cup. After last night's defeat 1-3 against Mexico, their coach complained he didn't have enough time to train with those players playing outside of Iran. Besides, they seemed as though they had enough air and energy to overrun the Mexicans, yet they fell into stagnation on the second half.
They might beat Angola, but I doubt they will go pass the Portuguese. However, we will have to wait and see. It is still too early and anything can happen.
PS: TO WHOMEVER IT MAY APPLY: do not mix football with politics; one thing is the country's president and another thing is their national football team. Get a grip.

Iran, Mexico, and Portugal are the favorites. Angola has a super team, yet they have not have been given sufficient journey. Iran will play Mexico first. If Iran could desire to get a tie with Mexico, we are able to be equivalent to them, in view that we are able to the two lose to Portugal and beat Angola. If we've get a tie factors interior the tip, they're going to use the "goals for" to deicde who advances to the nect point. The benefit Iran has is that their final interest is with Angola, so by then Iran is familiar with how many goals Mexico has scored, so as that they are going to score as many as they are able to against Angola to conquer their numbers.

Iran show a better team work yesterday, but I doubt they can beat Angola, and they do not have chance against Portugal. Iran is not going to pass.

No, I always thought the loser of the Iran - Mexico game would be knocked out. I know you probably don't like my opinion, but I am just being honest.
Good luck to whoever you support.

Nope. Don't see them beating Portugal, and they would need a win and a draw at least in their last two matches to get through.

no...and quite frankly, any nation that has openly called for the total destruction of another country should be barred from the tournament.
