Could be a number of things. It could be their culture, their man may like it(some actually do (barf!)) or as others said, they just may be lazy.

Somebody made up a rule a long time ago that women (but not men) had to shave their legs and pits. (probably so they could sell lots of razors and shaving stuff). So now it's a rule in our society. If I was a female I would think the whole thing was b******t.
I had a girlfriend in college who had never shaved, the hair in those places was very soft and light colored - it never bothered me at all. When she wore hose you couldn't even see the hair on her legs.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, big time.

Not everyone is the same. Some women don't WANT to go to the trouble. Some always wear full-length trousers and long- sleeve shirts in order to avoid deplaying the fact that they don't shave. Also, women shaving in those areas is not expected in all cultures.

Why do some women insult other women just because they choose to do something different?
I shave, but I don't find it disgusting if other women don't, as long as they're still practicing good hygiene. It's natural and there's nothing wrong with it.

It is tradition of the US to do it..no where else really does it. Why does it gross you out? Hair is there for a reason.
I do shave because it makes me feel better but other women want to play it all natural...that is why.
Some women don't want to be like you...always in trends and being like everyone else.

Lol, it's disgusting seriously but, some people just don't believe in it, and others don't because if you never start then you will never half to start shaving.

Well my daughter won't because she gets a terrible rash every time she does and it's not razor burn the doctor says her skin is too sensitive to shave.

Well, I know one of my friends is a huge Vegan/humanitarian and she just feels she shouldn't tamper with her 'natural' self.
Others just might be lazy or don't care what people think.
Don't let it bother ya too much.

I have a lady I work with and she doesn't bcuz she gets extreme razor burn. She only shaves when she must. Sucks for her.

Some of them wax, and to wax it you have to grow the hair to a certain length.
Others are just lazy.
