Yes, a comatose person can survive a hematoma or a sub-whatever hemorrhage as long as it's detected and treated early enough. Where it's located and how large it is, as well as how long it was present determines how extensive the subsequent brain damage is likely to be. Bear in mind that brain damage isn't always a result but it is usually present to some degree.

Yes they can, it depends on the nature of the bleeding from the brain, is it strokes, aneurysm, hematoma, injury itself to the brain. All can be different in severity. My daughter was not in a coma, but had a hematoma, bleeding in the brain, and did fine without any brain damage, due to a fall from a water slide ladder at a pool.

Well if the bleeding clots or is stopped ontime, the person can survive, and could be normal too.
