Take it from a woman who is 37 and now having many cases of basil cell carcenoma...no tan is worth what you will pay with later. Premature aging, possible skin cancer...is it worth it?

Unless you want wrinkles, age spots and skin like leather, stay out of the sun or use a strong UV protector. Get your tan from self tanners. You are also risking skin cancer, the fastest growing form of cancer in the US.

once you have reached the desired tan, or once your body stops acheiving more of a tan, STOP TANNING. if you want to go darker than your skin will let you, either go to a spray-on facility, or get a good self-tanner. trying to push your body further than it will let you go will cause more harm than it will good, and could result in serious skin problems.

I would stop tanning all together, unless you want to look 60 years old when your 40.

I recommend a body lotion that gives off a subtle tone enhancement or a glow. I LOVE Jergens Natural Glow. It works really well. And they have 3 different shades, so you can use it according to your color of your skin, and that definitely makes a difference. Also, it's cheaper(about 6 or 7 bucks) and completely harmless to your body.
