Should i get in the middle of an argument that my girlfriend is having with her friend? My girlfriend called me upset this morning while i was working.

You shouldn't get in the middle. You should however comfort your girlfriend and make her feel comfortable talking to you. All she really wants is someone to talk to. If she calls you at work and its not a good time then tell her you will talk to her about it later and show up at her house with a rose and some ice cream. :) then let her vent to you.

If she want your suggestions or wants you to do something, she will tell you so. Otherwise, just reflect back at her by saying neutral things like "Sounds like you're pretty upset" and "What happened next?" and so on. But don't do that guy thing of trying to "fix" her problem for her. When women come to you with problems, they usually just want you to listen and sympathize, not interfere or even offer advice.

i don't think that's a good idea.. just try to comfort her. let them be the ones to work things out. after all, a problem always has a solution.
