It is referred to as your ISP, internet service provider. If you want high speed internet access, you can go for other cable companies like comcast.

You can also get SBC or Bellsouth DSL, depending on where you live.

Most cable and DSL companies has the same price range as dialup these days so I would just stick with getting a broadband connection rather than going back to dialup. Dialup requires a modem on your computer and a telephone, but its very very very slow.
