it is but its not THAT fattening - i'm asian so rice is what i eat every single day.. - i'm not fat or obese but i think rice does make me gain a lil bit of weight but not that much compared to if im eating meat and oily stuff -
and yes, brown rice is a much better not to mention healthier option =)

Its high in carbs. If you are going to eat it, eat brown rice. Its a healthier choice as it is high in fiber.

No, it is just about how you prepare it. Cut back on oils, fats and sweets you will do fine! Go with boiling and not stir-frying of butter!

its a high carb food. so is potato, bread and anything that can turn into sugar once in the body. try to eat less of these things.
