I do agree that you should try to answer people seriuosly, tho, unless it's obvious that they are playing with you.

I don't know. It doesn't matter to me tbh. I only answer what I want to and ignore the rest.

I am tired of the perverted questions and all the incomprehensible questions though...

The stupid Q's make me smile sometimes.

Hell no, if people want serious answers they should go to a professional. Most of these answers are answered by amateurs and would you want an amateur to give you brain surgery? I would take all answers with a grain of salt. I would also continue to have fun with Y! Q&A, I do. I love to make up ridiculous questions for people to get all excited about. It's entertaining. I think seriousness is very boring. It takes a more intelligent person to be humorous.

Of course not. You have all the right to ask what kind of question you want to. You ask question, no matter if its silly or serious, because you want to know answers. There's a lot of silly question out there and they also receive replies.

Besides, silly or not, its worth 2 points (and if lucky 10) anyway. Just like this one. Thanks for the 2 points. lol :-D

I think there's room for both on this site. When a question seems serious, I try to provide a serious answer with appropriate references. But when they are obviously intended not to be serious, I feel free to exercise my creativity and sense of humor! It's so much fun!!!!!

I think that it isn't as fun to answer a serious question, but some of the questions on here are downright strange.

so yes. I think that ppl should only ask serious questions.

Nah men, crazy questions are cool sometimes, offensive and rude answers on the other hand are stupid and a waste of time, this is a game to help you learn about different topics and not to air out your disturbed ways. No question is a stupid question, stupid is not to ask cause it leaves you ignorant, know what I mean.

I think anybody sholud be able to ask any thing. i see questions that really sound serious and some that are funny but i think this is a good place for people to get things off their chest Whatever it may be.

that would certainly be preferable, but it's not going to happen b/c Yahoo doesn't do a good enough job of banning the idiots that ask stupid questions. just removing their question and docking them a couple of points isn't going to do anything. and even if they are banned, they'll just create a new name and come back b/c they're persistent like that.

I wouldn't ask anything too serious, but some people do.

Should they? Maybe they have nowhere else to turn, maybe they're embarrassed to ask people they can ask on here in anonymity.

No. However, I don't think you should give stupid answers to serious questions.
