What Does Invariably Mean

2017-01-09 21:21:07 · answer #2 · answered by ketcher 4 · 0 0

It should mean 'without variation' or 'always', but it invariably doesn't.

These days, the word 'invariably' is very rarely used literally, but is usually used in a figurative sense so that is ends up meaning 'almost always'.
