Back during the period of wars with the american indians if you killed the chief in battle the battle was over, you'll find that no longer to be the case. zarqawi was just one man and killing him won't solve anything, besides I thought you were there to find WMD's.

Yes I do, however I worry about the insurgents wanting to retaliate more. It's just like Bush, I may not agree on what all we do over there, like needing to bring troops home, but if someone would by chance assassinate him, I still would be livid and want to make them pay.

And yes, Thank you for your sacrifices everyday for us and the Iraqi's.

We consider it a positive event in the course of the war. We are proud of our soldiers and their numerous accomplishments. We are sad that we cannot spare you from having to endure these hardships and sacrifices. We thank you for what you are doing and pray for you.

God bless our men and women in the miliary.

The general feeling I'm getting stateside is that his death, while a victory for us, won't really make much of a difference in the end.

I do. I'd rather have him dead as running around causing trouble. I have no idea about the rest of the people in the US. I'm just sorry it took so long to get him.

yeah... I think we're happy, but we're trying not to over estimate it's importance (so we may be underestimating it even)

... I mean, maybe it is a major turning point, and I hope it is, but I think we don't want to let it distract us from other possible threats that do still exist...
