You must drink more water. That dark yellow is your kidneys working over time. It's not good for your body.
It's ok to cut back before bed. Just drink enough during the day.
Good Luck with the baby!

You should be drinking at least 64oz of water per day. Dark urine indicates dehydration. The paler the urine, the better hydrated you are. Being pregnant means you probably need more water than usual.
Thirst is your body's way of telling you that it is dehydrated. You should keep up your fluids in order to prevent this. You have to urinate more often, because the uterus is pressing on the bladder.
If you think your sleep is spoiled now ... wait until junior is out!!!

Darker urine usually means it is more acidic. You might want to look into what your eating. One way people often see this if they are getting more vitamin C in the diet. Also, drinking plain water doesn't always hydrate the body the best. Try drinking some other fluids now and then, or simply adding something to the water like low calorie flavoring. This will help hold the water in your system. Also, if you drink lots of fluids, your body will naturally purge the extra water out more often.

Are you asking why after drinking lots of water your urine turns from dark yellow to "clear"?
If so, it is because the water is running through your system. When your urine is yellow it because of the waste that has built up. Water flushes all that out making your urine clear.
If you are thirsty you should drink but at the same time you need your rest so you may have to choose rather to stop drinking at maybe 7pm and just fight the thirst or drink till you are satisfied and pee all night.
Hope this helps

Well, like most people say, babies are parasites; which is true. The child inside of you is taking away nutrients from you, exactly what a parasite does. My wife and I previously had a child, and she had this issue as well. Normally, we're supposed to drink 8 glasses of water every day to keep our bodies working well, and when your pregnent, you have to drink a little more because you're drinking for two.
The color of our urine tells us how our body is. If it's dark yellow, drink water! If you drink 2-3 cupts of water, the baby probaly takes 2.5 cups of water already and only .5 cups of water actually make it though your system.
So to answer your question, drink more water because the baby is taking nutrients away from you. Here's a schedule to try:
1 cup of water with breakfast
2 cups of water with lunch
2.5 cups of water with dinner
1 cup of water before you go to bed
These are minimum requirements, so drink more if you want. Hope this helps.

sound like you are running a little dehydrated. water is very important for your body.. Especially now more thatn ever. Since it is also getting hotter you need to continue to drink water. It could result in harm to you or the baby. With your kidneys and other thing as well as long term effects. It may also decrease the amniotic fluid which the baby floats in Dehydration can becom very serious and result in hospitalization. I would say when your are thirsty drink!!! because it means you are already some part of dehydrated

It's important for you to drink alot of water to help flush your kidneys. Frequent urination is part of pregnancy, so don't worry about that; take a nap if you don't get enough sleep; but keep drinking water. The average person should drink 8, 8ounce glasses of water daily.

You are allowing yourself to get dehydrated. You need to drink more water than you are currently drinking. This is always important, but it is REALLY important when you are pregnant. When you are pregnant, you will urinate more often because you have additional weight pressing against your bladder. Do not cause harm to you or your baby by getting dehydrated just because you don't want to get up in the middle of the night to pee!

sleepless nights come along pregnacy, it is part of the deal. It is good that your urine gets lighter. That means you are well hydrated. Try drinking more water throughout the day to keep the from being over-thristy at night.

This mean you should drink more water.
Unless you are opn some form of supplements, your urine should not be yellow. It should be clear.
If you are thirsty, your body is telling you that you need more water. You arent suppsed to let your body dehydrate to that point. Rather, you should provide yourself with plenty of water, witout letting yourself get thirsty and without letting your urine turn different colors.
