Philosophically speaking upon meeting someone you haven't spoken to them yet so the attractiveness of the person must be the beauty. Only after you speak with them can you be attracted to their personality

Personality, hands down. I'll talk to anyone, no matter what they look like. I'd much rather know what's on the inside, because it's the heart, not the exterior shell, that counts. I've met some people, who, on first glance, were really good looking, but then I talked to them and for whatever reason, suddenly, they were very unattractive, simply because their unkind, coarse, or rude speech ruined their "good looks". The outer beauty will last only a short time, but the inner beauty- it makes the man. (or woman) :)

Beauty is the first thing you see about a person, so of course beauty. But when you get to know a person and like their personality even the ugliest person becomes good looking in your eyes.

The first thing that attracted me to my beautiful wife was her personality...and yes she is also very beautiful...but personality no question...without that...beauty doesn't mean anything, no matter what anyone says.

I'm typcially someone who meets people on-line before in person and I typically look for someone cute with a great headline and then talk to them. In person, I can't tell anything by looking at them, so I have to say beauty.

The physical looks initially draw my attention, but if the personality is not there the interest is gone. Personality is the most important in the end....looks just attract you.
