Several times a week I get mail in Bulk Folder where the Sender area is blank & the Subject area is [ none ]. The size varies. The one I have in there now is 755b. I've always just emptied the folder but am curious about the contents. I know,"curiosity killed the cat" that's why I ask if mail in that folder is safe to peek at.

Sorry, I meant to ask this the first time: has anyone else gotten these ([none]) in their mail box?

Do not feel safe because the yahoo server scans for virus infections. This does not protect you from infection in your emails. Do not open emails in the bulk folder. It protects the Yahoo server from being infected.

If using the old email program. Click on the bulk folder and the emails will be listed. Look for ones that might be valid email and mark them as not spam or click and open them and read. Any that you don't know or want, especially if there is no subject or from address, the click the box next to it and click the delete button. Then click yes.

If you have an email that says New Graphic Site or anything like that, delete it without opening. It is infected and has infected many yahoo mail users this morning.

If it is the Yahoo mail Beta. Go to where it says HIDE PANE and click. Then click on the spam folder and the emails will be listed. This time you have to highlight and the click the delete button. By hiding the view pane the email is not opened. To delete more than one, hold down the crtl key and highlight all you want to delete. To open the pane again select the View button and select Reading Pane.

It's safe to open these. Yahoo employs Norton anti-virus software to prevent you from downloading viruses.
