Energy is not merely a concept. It is a definable, measureable, real thing. Apply energy to an object, and physical properties of the item change in a measureable fashion. For example, apply flame to a pot of water, and the temperature of the water increases.

Energy is real and can be measured with instruments. However what you are possibly referring to is spiritual energy that many believe is conceptual. I feel that religious energy can be perceived as real and physical energy IS real like in tai chi. When a person says "I am focusing my energy" in a physical sense they literally mean it. Energy can be produced by the body to say break a board or can be produced by the energy from the impact of the board on your fist. If you do not hit the board properly the energy will bounce back and break your wrist. Sometimes when people refer to energy you have to try to understand if it is physical energy or spiritual. They sometimes seem like the same thing if you don't know what you are looking for.

Everything in our physical world is composed of energy. There is nothing in our physical world that does not have as its basis "energy" of some sort. What happens to your automobile as it uses energy in a particular manner, is similar to it being given so much money (energy) put on its personal credit card, and for this amount it can go so far. The same is true of what you receive when you eat. You are giving your body a particular amount of "ability" (energy) put on credit. As money on your credit card is not seen, but the potential exists for you to do something special with it, the same is also true with energy. Everything has its own "credit card" number and you are able to add to that account as you wish. Credit from that account is able to be spread to others.

u have urself experienced energy in the form of light, heat and sound. To know or experience something, visual imagery isnt the only way; seeing is not the only way of knowing. energy exists just as mass does and by einstein's theory both are interconvertible. Through our senses we perceive it in different ways such as sound, heat and light. There are some marine life forms which can experience electric and magnetic fields. So u see its just a matter of perception.

There is a lot of confusion about what Energy is. Richard Feynman state that scientists today do not really know what energy is.
From my own reseach I conclude that energy is not an Entity. Its a process. So energy is a process and mass structure is the result of this process. Mass is an entity Energy is not.
