I think its a combination of attractiveness and the beauty of her soul- you know when you look at a women who is in full flight, gloriously alive, trusting in her abilities and talents, confident in who she is, who is graceful, calm, and knowing... I think in those moments, a woman can be perceived as breathtaking...

I really don't know if this is true or not...but some statistics show that women who have smaller WAISTS! get most of the attention...
I think a sense of humour also helps, and smarts
