I would laugh until tears fell out of me eyes. Of course my guilt would catch up with me after a couple minutes...or perhaps days and then I would feel bad. However do not get me wrong, I would never wish for a person, especially a football player who's career is based upon his legs, but in the case or event that it occured I would probably have a giggle or two. I mean I totally think Beckham is totally rubish, he is all face. I think he is better fitted in the profession of modeling than football. Many would differ from me, esp ruddy english fans, but honestly if the man is so good, why hasn't he brought home the world cup to England. He never has and I predict never will. He kicks great corners and has accurate passes and perhaps a contender for one of the best mids in Spain...maybe Europe, but I really the man is overhyped. His ability is overexaggerated and his looks are overestimated. Wow I truly hate his character. However I would never wish upon him the pain that poor rooney has gone through. I would never wish such anguish and misery upon a person.
However I would have a couple of laughs if he ever did. :-P

there are some messed up people that use this forum. Are we really contemplating our emotional reaction to a man breaking his leg? of course i would be distraught. Now, in terms of the world cup, on a purely competitive level, i would be happy. Go Brazil!

That's a bit evil really, isn't it. I mean his life is football and if he broke his leg badly enough he may not ba able to play anymore. THAT WOULD BE SUCH A WASTE OF A GREAT PLAYER!
