Personally I don't mind if the spelling in a question is a little bit sketchy or hit and miss. As long as the spelling is good enough that the question can be read and understood. I don't think people should be penalised for having a lesser standard of spelling, grammar or education.
The community guidelines don't have a rule against poor spelling, they just ask you to check your spelling and to be aware that your question might be deleted if it cannot be understood due to poor spelling.
People need to relax a bit and to drop the superiority complex. It is not a sign of intelligence to put down another person for their inadequacies, it is a sign of ignorance and a sign of weakness.

Some people are just anal. Especially since there is a Check spelling feature. Typos are one thing, however, some people who ask questions really are lousy spellers. Insulting someone for there misspellings is very immature if you ask me (and you did). You can simply correct the spelling and grammar, answer the question and move on. Insults not needed (or wanted).

There is a difference between a typo and a question that is totally mispelt. But, as you type in a question and/or answer a question, there is a spell check icon. People are too lazy to use the spell check.
Also, it can be hard to answer a question of there is a typo. For example: my question could be "Is there a god?" But I could end up typing "Is there a dog?" There is a difference, and one that could be frustrating at the same time.

If ur question is laid out in an easy 2 read manner & makes sense u'll find ppl will respond 2 ur questions in like manner. But if your question has bad grammar, is hard 2 understand, spelling errors (even tho' u can check ur spelling) then most ppl will respond 2 ur question negatively. How u present ur questions online is how ppl will respond & react. If it's good, most times the response'll be good even humourous. If it's bad! expect 2 be hammered big time. How u present ur question is the perception ppl will have of u.

The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is the hallmark of an intelligent, rational person. Slight, unintentional misspellings and grammatical errors are not a problem. But gross amounts of willful misuse of words and sentence structure, such as that in the phrasing of your question, can lead to misunderstanding.
Wanting to see properly phrased questions and answers is not a matter of arrogance. It is rather one of wanting to understand without seeing our beautiful, descriptive English language degenerate into the use of "code words" or obscure dialects.

It doesn't insult. It just tells others that the person is not very intelligent, so they don't take them seriously.
P.S. There is a 'Check Spelling' button at the top of the message box. Not rocket science......

if it's just one or two words i never say anything. it's when there are more words that are spelled wrong that right when i say something. it's stupid to leave that many words spelled wrong. i have saw some questions that you couldn't really read because of all the words misspelled. besides, isn't spell check right there on your screen?

I know, but some people are insanely annoyed by misspellings. I used to get that way in chat rooms

You have spell check, so ppl will think that you don't care enough about your questions to use it, or maybe that you may be just too lazy. Also, they may have inferiority problems and wish to be mean!
