No need to say but stay away from alcohol. Other than that whatever you do to stay healthy keep on with that. Do not eat junk foods. And as far as I know coke is not the best choice for a baby either... Good luck with the baby.. I hope it will be healthy..

Its good to eat small portions regularly.
Eat something every 2 hours.
Snack fresh fruits and vegetables.
Eat yogurts because they are rich in calcium.
Make sure salads are well washed.
Drink plenty of water, 6 pints or 8 large glasses a day at least.
Avoid caffeine (coffee, tea, coke). Herbal teas are okay.
Avoid alcohol, as it affects the development of the baby.
Avoid acid foods. Try beef tomatoes instead of ordinary tomatoes as they have little acidity. Choose also oranges which are sweeter, not acid ones.
Definetely NO uncooked meats, rare steak, pork, chicken or eggs. You can eat meat and eggs providing they have been well cooked.
Avoid fried foods.
Brown bread, pasta and rice, pulses, jacket potatoes are good source of fibre and folic acid. It will help you not to get constipated. If you are, dried prunes, apricots are a good snack and juices may help too.
Have a healthy pregnancy and take folic acid supplement in the first 12 weeks at least. Start before conception is recommended.
If you have sickness, sucking a ginger sweet may help. Some say mint is good too. Eat a dry cracker before you get up, to settle the stomach before you get up.
GOOD LUCK!!!!! ALL THE BEST!!!!!!

Of course you want to make sure you a well balanced meal. There's really now wrong things to eat, you need it all. (Do cut back on caffiene as it will eventually affect your breast milk production) However, there are some things that you generally love that you won't be able to eat. You'll find certain things will give you heartburn or not sit well on your stomach. Something will give you gas. You may even start to crave foods that you would never have touched before.
Just listen to what you're body is telling you. If you're craving chocolate, have a little. Just keep everything in moderation and you'll be just fine.

Try to avoid soft cheese. Do not eat liver or liver products. Limit your intake of alcohol and if you are a smoker try to stop or at least cut down. Also some research shows that you should try and avoid cranberry juice at least in early pregnancy.

The joys of being pregnant...lol. They tell you that the foods to avoid while pregnant are raw meats and fish containing high levels of mercury. Go to this website and read the article. It goes into more depth of what you can and can't eat.

You can eat anything as long as you eat moderately. Proteins: meat, fish, beans, cheese, milk and so on. Lots of vit B is very nice. You also need fat: the healthy fats are the "liquid" oils: vegetarian oils and marine oils - avoid animal fats. Carbs is also important: vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and stay away from alcohol!
